NBPA Top 100 Camp: 2021 Terrence Clarke

Terrence Clarke, has been on our radar for about 3 yrs now and he still continues to improve.  Clarke is top in his class of 2021 and  at this years NBPA top 100 Camp in Charlottesville, VA he has proven that.  We remember Clarke from the CP3 Rising Stars Camp in 2017 and we thought then that he had high level potential.  We were able to touch on a few question about his recruitment, development and other things.

Q: Describe your play here at the NBPA Top 100 Camp?

A: “First impression is the best impression and I want to show all I got.  I’ve tried to show skill my playmaking ability and everything I got.  I just want to show them that I can fit in the league.”

Q: Have you made changes in your game if any?

A: “I just want to be versatile and play one, two or three.  We are in an era of position-less basketball so I want to learn how to play point guard.”

Q: Talk about Kentucky and Coach Calipari ?

A: “Just them offering me, it’s fabulous.  I’m honored and blessed.  After seeing the midnight madness when I visited was crazy just seeing players compete, it was a great experience.

Q: Are there any schools you want to visit?

A: Not right now, I’ll revisit that with my coaches and go from there.

Q: What are you looking for from a school?

A: Want to see how I would fit into a system since it’s position-less basketball, I want to show my versatility.

Q: How excited are you with colleges coaches ready to contact you?

A: “I’m definitely excited and I just want to see what’s going to happen.  This is kind of one of those moments I’ve been waiting for.”
