Bay Area Hoops Girls All Hillsborough County 2018-19 teams

POY:

Brylee Bartram, 2019 (Seffner Christian) – The Florida commit averaged 18 pts her senior year. Along the way she set the national record for made 3’s.

 

COY: 

Coach Reggie Lawrence, Tampa Bay Tech HS

 

First Team:

Jayln Spurling, 2019 (Armwood) – Averaged 24 pts & 5 stls leading Armwood to a 25-2 record a district championship and to the elite 8.

Nabaweeyah McGill, 2020 (Carrollwood Day) – The 6’2” McGill averaged 12 pts & 9 reb anchoring the Patriots to their 3rd strait State Championship game. Her team finished with a 27-2 record.

Kaliah Henderson, 2019 (Robinson) – Led her team to a 19-6 record this season. One of the top scorers in the county. Having the injury late in the season affected the Lady Knights they could have could have went deeper in the playoffs.

Janiah Barker, 2022 (TBT) – One of the best Freshman in the country averaged 12 pts and  8 rebs, leading the Tampa Bay Titans to its first ever FHSAA state title.

Kendal Cheesman, 2021 (Plant) – Cheesman averaged 13 pts and 10 rebs leading Plant to a District title plus a 25-5 record. She has a huge upside.

 

Second Team:

Taviyanna Habib, 2021 (Armwood) – The sophomore averaged 16 pts, 10 rebs & 6 stls to help the Lady Hawks win their district with an added 25 game winning streak. A soild defender who usually guards the other teams top player.

Jasmine Peaks, 2021 (TBT) – The PG averaged 12 pts and 4.5 assists per game this season. As the lead guard on the floor, Peaks helped TBT to their State title.

Nyanna Williams, 2019 (Jefferson) – Williams averaged 23 pts and 9 stls, leading the Lady Dragons to a 20-6 record and a District title.

Tarriyonna Gary 2020 (Carrollwood Day) – The super athletic Gary averaged 13 pts, 6 rebs and 4 assists this season. Gary is a great 2 way player who helped lead the Patriots to a great season. Gary should be on everyone’s radar.

2022 Kaylin Gilbert, Tampa Prep – The Freshman G Kailyn Gilbert has proven she can score averaging 30 ppg in the season.  She is without question one of the top freshmen in the area.
