BAH Nike Hoop Summit Interview: Cole Swider

After the late addition of 6’8″ Cole Swider to the USA Junior National Select Team at the 2018 Nike Hoop Summit last week, we got a chance to talk with him.  Swider signed to attend Villanova University; he was a true standout at St. Andrews School in Providence, RI.  While averaging just over 31 ppg and has scored 2,905 points in his career, we know Swider can score!   He extends defenses beyond the three-point line and battles for hard baskets down low.  I truly see Swider has a SF who causes problems for bigger forwards and takes advantages of scoring opportunities but some categorize him has stretch PF.

Swider versatility and size to play either the 3 or the 4 at the collegiate level was intriguing to a few NBA Scouts who watched at the Nike Hoop Summit.

Swider will do well for Coach Jay Wright and Villanova Wildcats.
