Hillsborough County Girls Basketball: 5 teams we like

Carrollwood Day enters district play with a 22-1 record.  The trio of Gary, McMillan and McGill are what makes the team go. Should be another showdown between the Patriots and the Crusaders for the district crown.

Tampa Tech enters districts play with a 22-3 record.  Tech is well balanced among the starting 5.  Barker (12.1) and Peaks (12.2) are the two leading scorers.  Tech will have no problems winning districts. 

The lady Panthers of Plant enters district with a 20-4 record.  There starters average double figures: Cheesman w9ith 2.2; Jean 10.5 and Mathangav 10.1. Lady Panthers should easily win their districts tournament.  

Armwood Lady Hawks enter district at 21-1. The Hawks are led by Spurlin averaging 24.9 and Habib with 15.4. They are favored to win their district tournament. 

Seffner Christian enters district play with a record of 18-9.  They are led by Florida commit Bartram with 19.3 points per game.  They will battle Carrollwood Day to see who hosts or go on the road to after districts.  This should be fun.
