Day 2 at the City of Palms Classic

Fort Meyers, FL- The  Culligan City of Palms Classic was far from disappointing and brought out some of the top HIgh School teams in the Country. Day 2 is the day BAH caught much of the action.  

Ranney(NJ) vs Canterbury(FL)

In the 1st half Ranney poured it on, putting Canterbury in a comeback position. With a dominant first quarter going up 24-11, 2019 G Bryan Antoine was a force. Antoine who ended with 30 pts got help from 5 ⭐️ Recruit 2019 G Scottie Lewis. Lewis spent most of the game doing the little things and managing the pace of the game. Lewis finished with 9 pts, 4 rebs and 4 asst. Canterbury in a losing effort got a huge game from 2018 6’5” G Berrick Jeanlouis who gave 24 points.

Wesleyan Christian(NC) vs Orlando Christian Prep(FL)

This contest was well paced by Wesleyan Christian who executed efficient offensively against Orlando  Christian Prep. 2019 6’8” Wake Forest commit Jaylen Hoard was surperb. The 5⭐️ Forward was consistent across the board. Hoard ended with 23 points and 5 rebounds going 9-13 from the field. OCP got a tremendous game from 5⭐️ wing Nassir Little who finished with 24 points and 6 rebounds.

lehigh(FL) vs Gulliver Prep(FL)

With two evenly matched teams, we got a up and down paced game. 2020 6’6” wing Tony Sanders and 2020 6’1” PG Jamal Mashburn Jr. of Gulliver Prep were definite standouts.  Lehigh’s Bershard Edwards played well with 20 pts and 5 asst but not enough to prevail.

Memphis East(TN) vs Lakewood Ranch(FL)

The David and Golith match. Memphis East was just to big, long and tall to be held back. Lakewood Ranch kept it close for awhile but the wearing down from Memphis East bigs was entirely too much. Lakewood played tough and capitalized on East mistakes.

Archbishop Malloy(NY) vs University School(FL)

This was the game of the night. A ton of 5 ⭐️talent was on display.  Top  5 ⭐️ PG Cole Anthony and C Moses Brown of Archbishop Milloy did what they normally do but the cast of 5⭐️ F Vernon Carey, Tre Doomes and Scottie Barnes may have been too much. After dominating the 2nd quarter 20-8, the Sharks cruised to victory.

Mountain Brook(Ala.) vs Mater Dei(CA)

Mountain Brook vs Mater Dei was another good match up game tonight and maybe the best of the day. With the tough play and the tightness of the game, Mater Dei was able to play there game all the way to the end. Even with Trendon Watford scoring 31 points, it was short of helping defeat Mater Dei.
