Maryland VS UConn 2015 NCAAW Final Four

The second game with Maryland and UConn was off to the races from tip off. With UConn applying early full court pressure in an effort to push the ball and settle into early transition the game was up and down the court in the early stages of the first half.

Early in the game Maryland tried to keep it close but UConn began to pull away in the first half leading by as much as 11. Overall UConn looks like a team that has been there before and have their eyes set on a three-peat. UConn shot over 50% from the field and capitalized off of Maryland turnovers. Uconn maintained its lead for the whole game. Maryland did not shoot any free-throws in the first half. The score at the half was 44-33.

The second half was all Huskies they displayed their dominance for the remainder of the game. Morgan Tuck ended the game 10 for 16 for a total of 24 points and added 9 rebounds. Breanna Stewart also added 25 points 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Marylands Brionna Jones scored 14 points to lead the Terrapins. UConn beats Maryland 81-58.
