COACH OF THE YEAR:

Coach Danny Gaddis  Lennard HS- Over a 5 yr span Danny Gaddis has made the Longhorns become 6A district 9 champs.  With their best season yet he pushed them to show tenacious defense pressure and team work.   Gaddis has become one of  Hillsborough County top Coaches in the area.

 

First Team:

PG     Jonathan Jean  East Bay HS  2015- When you put together; Lots of potential, dynamic and focus you get John Jean.  Jean’s love for the game is propelling him to be Great!  As a Jr. he is averaging 16 pts, 4 rebs, 6 asst and 2.8 stls.  Jean has multiple HM D1 College offers.

PG     Malik Channer  Strawberry Crest HS  2014- Malik has been on our radar for about 3 yrs.  His growth/IQ as a PG has improved immensely.   His averages (13.5 pts/4.1 rebs/5.8 asst/ 3 stls) has shown is work ethic on the court.   This past Summer he has really worked hard to put his name in the conversation of top PG’s in the area.

SG     Keashawn Ingram  Steinbrenner  HS  2014-  Very crafty Combo Guard.  Ingram can SCORE!  With his 29.7 pts, 5.3 asst., 4.3 rebs and 2.6 stls he is 5th in the state in scoring.

SF     Chivarsky Corbett  Tampa Catholic  2014-  The Delaware State commit is a stud at the SF position.  Averaging 20 pts and just under 10 rebs per, Corbett has shown consistency while shooting 52% from the field.

SF     Justin Gray  Berkeley Prep  2014– Our Player of the Year shows a great work ethic which he displays every game.  The Texas Tech commit is averaging 17.5 pts and 7.5 rebs per game.   Berkeley Preps center piece shows a true leadership with his teammates.  Gray is very dominant, strong and moves well in transition.

PF     Juwan Durham  Tampa Prep  2016–  Durham will be racking up more HM D1 offers for the next couple of years.  At 6’9” he’s averaging 21.6 pts, 11.5 rebs and 5.7 blks per game.  He is continuing to develop his jump shot and ability to create off the dribble.  Durham has such High Ceilings in his development.

C     Dan Manzi  Tampa Bay Christian  2014– Manzi is a warrior on the court. Manzi shows his dominance with an impressive 24 pts and 13.3 rebs per game average.  A catch and finish athlete with a good mid-range.  He as committed to Texas-Pan American of the WAC conference.
