Predictions:

  • Jesuit
    Spoto
    Robinson
    Jefferson
    Middleton

6a District 9 Jesuit are still the favorite team to control this district. Spoto and Robinson has emerged has teams to rattle the Tigers. The defending district champs will get tested.  It will be interesting to see how these 3 teams battle for the district.

Jesuit TigersCoach Neal Goldman and the Tigers always have high performance seasons and this year will not be different.  However they will be in a dog fight with Spoto & Robinson.  Is the Big Brother dominance over? Big time performer Stephen Darst is gone but G Thierry Moliere will take up the slack.

Robinson Knights – The Kights will come ready to play and Coach Steve Smith’s will make sure they do.  But usually only worrying about Jesuit but things have changed and they will have to beat Spoto has well. Losing Murad Berrien to Superior Collegiate Academy will be a hard gap to fill.  Let’s see if the Knights have what it takes.

Jefferson Dragons – The Dragons Coach Eric Hayes is always on point when it comes to preparing his troops.  He should always be in the conversation of Coach of the Year based on the talent he has to work with. Still looking for that go to guy, the dragon’s will be on pins and needles.  They will play to the click ends so keep a watch on them.  David Harris will be a focus and coming of the football field will be 6’6” Justin McGriff

Spoto Spartans – Spartans under Coach Augustine Gaddis have been continually improving and looks to try to challenge Jesuit for the district title.  Look for 2019 PG Anthony Gooden, 2019 SG Eric Lee.

Middleton Tigers – Middleton need to improve there record this year.  The Tigers always seem to  show they have athletes but it doesn’t turn into wins.  Head Coach Johnnie Grant like previous Coaches here,  inherited a team that never gets off the ground. Hopefully Coach Grant can make the necessary changes  to create some victories.
