Under the Radar: Norris Taylor, “Mr. Catch 22”
2019 6’1″ G Norris Taylor, Sebring HS(FL) is not on many College Coaches recruitment radar, but this will change. BAH has been watching Taylor for some years and noticed his change has he grew. We witnessed a player who easily can impact games, make differences and play in any circumstances. Taylor has the knack to score and capability to learn fast. He plays for Bay Area Hoops Elite and is averaging over 20 pts per game. “I got practice twice a day for basketball one in the morning and afternoon and between them I lift weights to make myself bigger and stronger. I’ll play football if basketball wasn’t no option or be an entrepreneur but I’m good at football as well. I’m a shooter but I can get to the rim whenever I can handle the ball I can play defense but not as well i should play but I’m working on that everyday.”
His summers are picking up in three sports (Track, Football and Basketball). When you watch him you can see that he’s a pure ATHLETE plus a very good kid! Taylor mentioned “I have looks for basketball and football but I believe more are coming so it’s going good. I get along with everybody, I don’t get in fights, my behavior is good and respectful. I try to help out people the best way I can. I just want to be successful in life & I take care of my family” While talking with him he seems to sets a high standard and makes players around pick up their game to compete, so when he said he loved Kobe it didn’t surprise me. Coaches should look for this young man to add to your program.
