A brief look at Marquez Cooper

The 1st team All- Pasco 2017 G Marquez Cooper (@coolmixtape) has been producing for Anclote High School and averaging just over 20 ppg for the 2015-2016 season.  Once stepping in the gym at the annual Breakdown Showcase, we got our first glimpse of this long, lengthy framed guard. 

In our conversation he mentions that he plays travel ball with Team Under Pressure and he’s starting grab more attention. Cooper is adding more skill to his game by working on shooting off the dribble and bettering his footwork.  The confidence he plays with is off the charts, he’s a true hard worker!  “I’m a 6’0″ guard that can jump out of the gym and will take on any challenge, I’m a feisty and can play with anyone on the court.  My main goal is to get better and stronger each and everyday and take my school to States as well as being one of the top players in high school next year.”  Cooper goal is to average 30 points and 8 assists and 10 rebounds a game next season and i believe him. 

Cooper basketball background comes from his Dad whom also is the person who influences him to be great.  ” My dad played college and overseas so i want to be better than him, he pushes me to be better”  This kid can give a college program some all-around play and a ton of heart.  Follow the link below to watch some video.
