Trent Robertson signs with Coastal Georgia

Trent Robertson of Durant High School signs with Coastal Georgia a NAIA Division 1 program.  Robertson averaged 20.3pts, 3.3 asst. and 5 rebs per game. He played his AAU ball for the Bay Area Hurricanes under Coach Ben Bromley and Coach Reggie Burke Sr.

Trent is a high energy player and his very excited to start his college career with the Mariners.   “I think it was the right fit. I had interest from other schools, but Coastal was the most loyal throughout my whole recruiting process. Me and Reggie(Strawberry Crest Alum) are going to be a tough combo in the backcourt and I know we’ll make some noise. I’ve been working my whole life for this opportunity, I might be labeled as a freshman but I’m coming in on campus ready to make a statement.”   Head Coach Gerald Cox was very impressed with Robertson instincts and ability to hit the open 3.  Also, Assistant Coach Jesse Watkins who recruited Robertson also as high expectations for Tampa area PG.
